Refunds
This page sums up the refund rules for Pro plugin licences. The full text, including your legal rights as a consumer, is the refund policy on brainrune.com. If the two ever differ, the policy is what counts.
Try the free plugin first
Section titled “Try the free plugin first”The free version of every plugin is on WordPress.org. Install it first, and you will know whether it fits your store before you pay for Pro.
14 days to make it work
Section titled “14 days to make it work”If a Pro plugin does not work on your site and we cannot fix it within 14 days of your purchase, you get the full amount back.
We ask that you write to us first and let us try. Most problems are a conflict with another plugin. The attempt costs nothing, and asking for help does not shorten the 14 days.
Renewals
Section titled “Renewals”We email you before every renewal, well before the card is charged. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the period you already paid for. The plugin keeps working until that period ends.
If a renewal goes through and, within 14 days, you tell us you no longer want the licence and have not used it since, we refund that renewal in full.
Charges you did not expect
Section titled “Charges you did not expect”A duplicate charge, a charge for something you did not order, or a renewal taken after you cancelled is refunded in full whenever you notice it. There is no time limit.
What is not refunded
Section titled “What is not refunded”- A licence period that has already run, where the plugin worked as described.
- Purchases made through a reseller or a marketplace. Those are refunded by whoever sold them to you.
None of this limits your rights when a product is faulty. Those are described in the refund policy.
How to ask
Section titled “How to ask”Do one of these, and give the order number and one line about what went wrong:
- In your account, open Support and start a New conversation.
- Email contact@brainrune.com from the address on the order.
We answer within one working day. Approved refunds are paid within 14 days of our decision, to the same card or account you paid from, in the currency you paid. We do not charge a fee. Your bank may take a few working days more to show it.
What happens to the licence
Section titled “What happens to the licence”When a licence is refunded, its key stops working and the Pro features switch off on every site. The free plugin keeps working, and the data you saved with it stays where it is.
Business customers
Section titled “Business customers”If you buy with a company VAT number on the invoice, the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers does not apply. Everything on this page still does, on the same terms.
