Changelog

  • Declares compatibility with WooCommerce order storage (HPOS) and the block checkout. Before this, WooCommerce listed the plugin as incompatible in a red notice, although it never touches orders.
  • Product tags and brands, next to categories, with the same editor, filters and CSV.
  • Table view: every term in one table, edited straight in the cells. Cards stay the default; your choice is remembered.
  • Side panel with a Google preview for desktop and mobile, with your site icon, site name and URL.
  • SEO title and meta description measured in pixels (580 px and 920 px), the way Google cuts them.
  • Filters with counts: no SEO title, no meta description, title cut off, duplicate titles, empty, noindex.
  • “Edit with” WordPress or Brainrune on every term.
  • Redesigned screen: higher contrast, folder tabs, the SEO plugin’s logo in the header.
  • Fix: a CSV without a description, SEO title or meta column no longer clears that field.
  • The Pro tab is now an Add-ons tab: one card per module of the separate add-on, with a switch that stays off until it is installed. No pictures ship with the plugin any more, and the archive is a fifth of the size.
  • Fix: the screen was 20px wider than wp-admin, which showed a horizontal scrollbar.
  • The CSV import now writes the name and slug columns as well, so an exported file can be edited and imported back in full.
  • Script and style handles and the localised JavaScript object renamed to the plugin prefix.

Check your CSV file before importing after this update: the import now changes category names and slugs too.

  • Saving a category purges only that category in LiteSpeed Cache, instead of relying on the site-wide term hooks.
  • Pro features moved to the separate Pro add-on. This plugin is the editor and the CSV tools. Nothing free was removed.
  • Fix: the save, export and import actions were registered under a different name than the forms used.
  • Rewritten: English throughout, split into files.
  • Yoast SEO and SEOPress support alongside Rank Math.
  • New editor: one card per category, field toggles, per-card save, unsaved-changes bar.
  • Slug changes flagged before and after saving.
  • Declares compatibility with WooCommerce order storage (HPOS) and the block checkout, like the free plugin.
  • Products & categories redrawn: a category list on the left opens its products with one click, All products shows from the start, and the actions are buttons in the bar that appears once you tick products.
  • Category tree shows the whole tree at once, with a filter, instead of a search step.
  • The Brainrune logo on a product or category opens a side panel on the same screen to edit that category and save it.
  • The audit shows problems as text with an icon, and its bar no longer covers the table.
  • The Licence tab redrawn in the editor’s style.
  • Needs the free plugin 2.2.0 or newer.
  • Fixes a fatal error (“Cannot redeclare class”) when another Brainrune add-on with the licence SDK is active.
  • Hides the free plugin’s Add-ons tab (free 2.1.3) as well as the older Pro tab.
  • The licence check lives entirely in the add-on now. Needs the free plugin 2.1.2 or newer.
  • First release as a separate add-on. Everything Pro moved here from the free plugin.
