Cache Warmer
A page that falls out of the cache is built from scratch for the next visitor. On a WooCommerce store that visitor waits seconds instead of milliseconds.
Uruz Cache Warmer (shown on brainrune.com as Cache Warmer) reads your sitemap, builds a queue of your public URLs and visits them in the background. By the time somebody asks for a page, it is already in the cache.
Desktop and mobile
Section titled “Desktop and mobile”LiteSpeed and most CDNs keep a separate cached copy of each page for phones, picked by the visitor’s user agent. A warmer that only sends a desktop user agent leaves the phone copy cold, and that is where most store traffic lands.
This plugin fetches every URL twice, once as a desktop browser and once as a phone, and shows both results in separate columns. A cache bucket that is not being filled is visible at a glance.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”- Reads a sitemap index or a plain
urlset. With no readable sitemap, it walks your published content instead. - Warms the home page first, then archives, then everything else.
- Warms extra URLs you list by hand, on top of the sitemap.
- Never warms the cart, checkout and account pages. It reads them from WooCommerce, in every language.
- Warms a page as soon as it is published or updated.
- Adapts its pace: slow answers or a busy server make the next run smaller, and a 429 or 503 is honoured for as long as
Retry-Aftersays. - Pushes harder in a quiet window you choose, such as the night.
- Reads the cache header (LiteSpeed, Cloudflare, Nginx, Varnish, Kinsta, SiteGround, Sucuri, 20i and more) and reduces it to hit, miss, bypass or no cache.
- Judges the cache only from the second pass on, because the first warming request is always a MISS.
- Emails you when too many warmed pages come back cold.
- Runs from WP-Cron, from a secret cron URL, or from WP-CLI.
Free, all of it
Section titled “Free, all of it”Every feature is in the free plugin on WordPress.org. There is no Pro version, no URL limit, no locked screen and no account.
Your site only
Section titled “Your site only”Every request goes to your own site. A URL on any other host is dropped before it is fetched, and the plugin contacts no third-party service. Requests carry no cookies, and the TLS certificate is checked by default.
Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”- WordPress 6.4 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer
- A page cache in front of WordPress, such as LiteSpeed Cache or a CDN with HTML caching. Without one, there is nothing to warm.
WooCommerce is not required. With WooCommerce active, the cart, checkout and account pages are detected and skipped on their own.
