Getting started

Brainrune makes plugins for WordPress and WooCommerce stores. Most plugins have a free version: on WordPress.org, or as a download from the plugin page on brainrune.com. Some plugins also have a Pro version, sold from brainrune.com.

The free version

The free version is a complete plugin, not a trial. Category SEO Editor and Cache Warmer install from Plugins > Add New in wp-admin, like any plugin from WordPress.org. The others are a zip you download from the plugin page on brainrune.com and upload in Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.

• No account and no licence key.
• No expiry and no limit on the number of sites.
• Plugins listed on WordPress.org update from there, like any other plugin.

Some plugins are free only. Cache Warmer is one of them: every feature is in the WordPress.org version.

Pro from brainrune.com

A Pro version adds screens on top of the free plugin. For Category SEO Editor, Pro is a separate add-on that you install next to the free plugin. It does not replace the free plugin, and it needs the free plugin to be active.

When you buy Pro:

• A Brainrune account is created at checkout, if you do not have one yet.
• You get a licence key by email, and it also shows in your account.
• You paste the key into the plugin on your site to turn Pro on.
• Updates for Pro arrive in wp-admin while the licence is active.

Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly depending on the plan. Prices are on each plugin’s page on brainrune.com.
