Credits
Reports in Keywords are paid with credits. You buy a pack, the credits land in your account, and each report takes a fixed number of them. There is no subscription.

The cost is always shown before you run: next to Report depth (“N credits / run”), on the site audit price card, on Build brief · 1 credit and on the rank tracker’s run button.
What is free
Section titled “What is free”- Reopening any saved report, as often as you like.
- The sample reports in a new account.
- The first 15 pages of a site audit. You can run up to 3 free audits a day, and the same site once every 24 hours.
- Reading your rank trackers.
- Saved keywords.
New accounts do not get free credits. You get the sample reports right away and buy credits when you need a real report.
When credits are taken
Section titled “When credits are taken”Credits are taken when a report starts, before any data is fetched.
If the same report (same keyword, market, language and depth) was run in the last 7 days, the data is served at once from that run. The report still costs its normal price.
When credits come back
Section titled “When credits come back”You do not pay for a report that brings nothing back. Credits are returned on their own:
- When the data provider returns nothing for the search. You see “Credit returned”.
- When a report gets no data and is left for an hour.
- For the pages a site audit did not crawl, if it stops early.
- For rank tracking keywords that fail to come back, and for a content brief where no page could be read.
Returned credits go back to the pack they came from. If that pack has already expired, they come back as a new lot valid for 30 days.

You buy packs from Account in the app, or on brainrune.com. The credits arrive within a minute of payment. Your first pack may come with a launch bonus of extra credits, shown as a separate “Launch bonus” lot.

Expiry
Section titled “Expiry”Credits are valid for a year from purchase. When you run a report, the credits that expire first are spent first. Account lists each lot with how much is left and its expiry date.
Where to see your balance
Section titled “Where to see your balance”- The bar at the top of the app shows how much of your credits are left. Hover it for “X of Y credits left”.
- The credits strip shows the total, “10 credits = one full report” and when the next credits expire, with Buy more.
- Account > Credits lists every lot.
