SmartCash Sync

SmartCash Sync connects WooCommerce to SmartCash (made by Magister Software) through the SmartCash Everywhere REST Server. Your stock, prices and product data come from one place, your SmartCash management, and the site picks them up on a schedule. There are no CSV files to move by hand.

The plugin interface is in Romanian. This documentation is in English and quotes the exact Romanian labels you see on screen, such as Sincronizare (Sync) or Sursa (Source).

Stock. The stock on the site is the sum of the SmartCash shops (gestiuni) you include. You choose which shops count. A safety buffer and a “stock 0” threshold let you hold back the last pieces.

Prices. The sale price and the promotions from SmartCash.

Products. New articles from SmartCash are created as WooCommerce products. On the first import a product is created with all the data SmartCash has, as a draft by default. For products already on the site, you choose field by field what the sync may overwrite: stock, price, name and description, categories, brand, attributes.

Preferential codes. Instead of the whole catalogue, you can sync only a list of EAN or SKU codes. See Preferential codes.

  • Images. The SmartCash REST API does not deliver product images, so the photos on your site are never changed.
  • Texts you wrote. Name, description, categories, brand and attributes are off by default. They stay as you wrote them until you switch them on.
Mode What is imported
Total The whole SmartCash catalogue, within the import filters (price range, article type, stock, blocked for sale).
Preferential Only the EAN or SKU codes in a list you keep. Import filters do not apply.

When a product runs out of stock, it does not have to disappear overnight. With gradual SEO withdrawal on, a product at stock 0 stays published, then gets noindex, then goes to draft with a 301 redirect to its parent category. Any stock above 0 brings it back at once. See Sync.

A sync is started by WP-Cron, by a server cron calling a private address with a key, or by WP-CLI. A server cron is recommended. See Sync.
