Your Brainrune account

Your Brainrune account holds your licence keys, the sites they run on, your downloads, subscriptions, invoices and support conversations.

Creating an account

There is no separate sign-up form. An account is created at checkout, the first time you buy a plugin or credits on brainrune.com.

If you check out as a guest with an email that already has an account, the checkout tells you under the email field. You can sign in, or tick the box that adds the purchase to that account. The licence and the emails then go to that account’s address.

Note

One login works for brainrune.com and the Keywords app. Use the same email and password on both.

Signing in

Sign in on brainrune.com with your email and password. If you forgot the password, use Forgot it? on the sign-in form to reset it.

What is in your account

The account menu has these screens.

Dashboard

A summary of everything you bought: your licences with the number of sites in use, the next renewal, recent orders and your support conversations. If a card on file expires before its next charge, the dashboard tells you so you can update it.

Licences

One row per licence key. Open a row to see:

• Licence key: shown masked. Use Reveal to see it and Copy to copy it.
• Domains: the sites the key is active on, with the date each one was activated and when it last checked in.
• Move and Deactivate for each site.
• Regenerate key, for when a key has leaked.

Downloads

The zip files of your Pro plugins, with the version, the publish date and a sha256 checksum. You only need these for a fresh install. Updates arrive in wp-admin on their own, see Updates.

Subscriptions

Each plan you pay for, with its price, the card it is charged to, the next charge date and its invoices. From here you can:

• Cancel subscription: the plugin keeps working until the end of the paid period, then the subscription stops renewing.
• Keep it running: undoes a cancellation before the period ends.
• Change card or Update card: change the card a plan is charged to.
• Pay now: settles a renewal whose payment failed.

We email you seven days before every charge.

Orders

Your orders, with an invoice for each one. A refunded order has a credit note instead.

Support

Your conversations with us. Start one with New conversation: pick a topic, write what happened, then Check and send. Replies show here and arrive by email.

Tip

For a licence problem, name the plugin, the site, and what the plugin’s Licence screen says. That saves a round trip.
