These terms govern your use of brainrune.com, the plugins and licences sold here, and Brainrune Keywords at keywords.brainrune.com (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or placing an order you accept them. Brainrune is the operator of the Services; the company details appear on every invoice and are available from contact@brainrune.com.
1. Your account
One account works for brainrune.com and for Brainrune Keywords. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done under your account. Tell us at once if you believe someone else has access to it. You must be at least 18 and provide accurate billing details; an invoice is issued for every order.
2. Plugins and licences
Free plugins stay free and keep working. A Pro licence is a yearly subscription that unlocks the Pro features, updates and support for the number of sites stated on the product page. If a licence lapses, the plugin keeps working with the features you already have but stops receiving updates and support until it is renewed. Licences are personal to your account and may not be resold. You may not remove or circumvent licence checks.
3. Brainrune Keywords and credits
Brainrune Keywords is paid for in credits. Ten credits buy one full keyword research report and five buy a Lite report, as shown in the app before you run one. Credits are sold in packs, land on your account when the order is paid, and are valid for the period stated on the pack (365 days unless the pack says otherwise). The credits expiring soonest are spent first. Unused credits expire at the end of their validity and are not refunded.
Reopening a report you already ran is free. Running the same keyword again for fresh data costs the same as a new report. If our data provider fails and a report returns nothing, its credits are returned to your account automatically. Reports are built from third-party search data; figures such as search volume and difficulty are estimates and we do not guarantee their accuracy or any ranking or advertising outcome.
You may use the reports and exports for your own business or for your clients. You may not resell access to the app, share your account, scrape the service, or run it through automated tooling beyond the exports we provide. We may set a fair-use limit on reports running at the same time.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider; we do not store card details. Licence subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled from your account; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Credit packs are one-off purchases and do not renew.
5. Refunds
Plugin licences: if a Pro plugin does not work on your site and we cannot fix it within 14 days of your purchase, you get a full refund. Credit packs: unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no report has been run from that pack; once credits have been spent the pack is used and is not refundable, except for the automatic return of credits when a report fails as described above. 6. Data and privacy
We store the details needed to run your account, issue invoices and deliver the Services: your name, email, billing address, orders, licences, credits and the reports you run. Keyword reports are kept so you can reopen them; you can delete them from the app. We do not sell personal data. Emails from us are transactional (orders, credits, expiring credits, security) unless you opt in to anything else. Payment data is handled by the payment provider under its own terms.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance and third-party outages happen. We may change features and prices; a price change never affects credits or licence periods you have already paid for. If we discontinue Brainrune Keywords, unused credits bought in the previous 12 months are refunded pro rata.
8. Liability
The Services are provided as described on their product pages. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, or decisions taken on the basis of report data. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Termination
You can close your account at any time by writing to us; active licence periods and unexpired credits are handled under section 5. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, attempts to bypass licence or credit checks, or is used for fraud.
